Accessibility statement

PlannedQuest is for every student and every adult who supports them, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or other assistive technology.

The standard we build to

We design, build and review PlannedQuest against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

Where we are today

PlannedQuest partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. That means most of the product meets the standard and some parts do not yet fully meet it.

What we have reviewed
53 product surfaces, reviewed against WCAG 2.1 AA by our own team.
What runs on every change
An automated text-contrast check runs on every code change and blocks any change that adds hard-to-read text. We also run automated accessibility scans on our public pages.
What we are still working on
Some text is still below the contrast the standard asks for, and some newer pages have not been reviewed again yet. No outside firm has audited the product yet.

Tell us about a barrier

Email accessibility@plannedquest.com. Tell us the page or feature, what you were trying to do, and the browser and any assistive technology you use. A screenshot helps if you can send one, but it is not required.

We acknowledge every report within 2 business days.

How quickly we fix it

We sort every report by how much it gets in someone’s way:

It stops someone from finishing a task
Fixed before our next release.
It makes a task much harder, or needs a workaround
Fixed within 14 days.
It falls short of the standard but the task still works
Fixed within 90 days.
A smaller improvement
Scheduled alongside related work.
